Welcome To The Practice

The website provides many online facilities, including appointment booking and cancellation, registration, prescription ordering, and much more. It also contains a vast range of health information and resources, along with practical information on visiting the surgery. We hope you find the website useful and informative.

Disabled Access

At Norbury Health Centre there are reserved car spaces for the disabled in the car parking area. There is wheelchair access to the building; provision of lifts to access the first and second floors. There is a disabled patient WC. Reception staff will be more than happy to make your visit to the surgery comfortable.

EMIS Patient Access

The Practice is pleased to provide patients with access to its Clinical System via a Secure Web Interface.

To use EMIS Patient Access you will need a Practice ID number and Access ID number which is obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password, will be unique to you.

    Surgery Closed for Protected Learning Training Afternoon

    Please be aware that on Wednesday 18th September 2019, Norbury Medical Practice will be closed from 1 PM for staff training. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and our phone lines would divert our patients' to the emergency service if they need information or advice during this time. The surgery will open again as normal on Thursday 20th September 2019 Thank you for your understanding.

    Pregabalin and Gabapentin

    From the 1st April 2019 Pregabalin and Gabapentin will be reclassified as controlled drug schedule 3 under the Misuse of Drugs regulations 2001, the home office has announced. If you are prescribed these medications, your prescription will be altered to bring it in line with the new legislation and the following will now apply: The maximum amount we can now prescribe is 30 days These items will be removed from repeat prescribing and must now be requested monthly The script must be dispensed within 28 days or it becomes invalid Our medical system has been updated to reflect these changes and we cannot overide this.
