Pregabalin And Gabapentin
From the 1st April 2019 Pregabalin and Gabapentin will be reclassified as controlled drug schedule 3 under the Misuse of Drugs regulations 2001, the home office has announced. If you are prescribed these medications, your prescription will be altered to bring it in line with the new legislation and the following will now apply: The maximum amount we can now prescribe is 30 days These items will be removed from repeat prescribing and must now be requested monthly The script must be dispensed within 28 days or it becomes invalid Our medical system has been updated to reflect these changes and we cannot overide this.
